Clean and simple Palos Verdes Estates renovation. Clean and simple Palos Verdes Estates renovation. The goal was the for the owners, who were downsizing, to have a design that will be low maintenance. The natural quartzite slabs are stunning and the wood tone and texture were selected after a few tries to get it perfect!

One of my favorite things about interior design is One of my favorite things about interior design is seeing the work I do with my clients in the background of their daily lives. Sometimes I see it in the background of their Christmas cards or in framed photos around their home. It’s such a good reminder that this work is deeply personal and impactful. This particular project, which has not been professionally photographed yet, has been one of my favorites ever. People will often warn not work with friends, but then probably most designers do it anyway to find out for themselves. 😊 I got to work with a friend on this one and it was so fun right from day 1. What started as just furniture turned into a much larger scope, and FAST. So, lots of rapid fire texting and making decisions on the fly. I could not be more proud of how it turned out. And I got to experience the house come to life with a close friend and see her family enjoy the new house too. Just feeling extremely grateful and I’ll be sharing more photos of this one eventually.
